LATAR BELAKANG
Sejak pemerintah mengeluarkan deregulasi di bidang lelang pada tahun 1996, yaitu sistem penjualan lelang dapat dilakukan oleh Balai Lelang Swasta, dimana sebelumnya penjualan lelang hanya dapat dilakukan oleh Kantor Lelang Negara (KLN) sekarang Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL), penjualan lelang menunjukkan perkembangan yang menggembirakan.
Sebagaimana kita ketahui dunia lelang di Indonesia selama ini dipandang negatif oleh masyarakat dikarenakan barang-barang yang dilelang adalah barang yang kualitasnya tidak baik dan bermasalah.
Untuk mengubah pandangan masyarakat tersebut diperlukan suatu strategi, dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang dibutuhkan oleh Balai Lelang Swasta yang secara Profesional mampu menyebarluaskan informasi kepada masyarakat, bahwa penjualan barang dengan cara lelang merupakan salah satu alternatif terbaik dalam mendapatkan harga yang optimal.
Berdasarkan hal-hal tersebut diatas, maka didirikanlah PT Balai Lelang Star yang disebut juga Star Auction. Sebagai Balai Lelang Swasta, Star Auction terus menerus mengembangkan sumber daya yang dimiliki, termasuk memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dalam mengantisipasi kebutuhan dunia usaha seperti Lembaga Keuangan, Perusahaan Lokal maupun Asing, Yayasan dan Pribadi yang menghadapi problem menjual aset-aset yang tidak produktif. Seperti halnya di negara-negara maju, penjualan melalui lelang sudah sejak lama dikenal dan sangat populer karena berbagai kelebihan serta keuntungan yang diberikan, baik bagi penjual maupun pembeli.

TIM MANAJEMEN
Suharjono, SH (Direktur Utama)
Selaku Direktur Utama, merupakan tenaga yang profesional dalam bidang penjualan melalui lelang terhadap aset-aset barang bergerak dan tidak bergerak, selaku tenaga profesional yang mempunyai latar belakang pengalaman Perbankan selama 10 (sepuluh) tahun, pengalaman di Balai Lelang Swasta sejak tahun 2000 dan konsultan Balai Lelang Swasta.
Keahlian lainnya dalam bidang tersebut mampu mengkoordinir sebuah ‘team work’ pemasaran untuk kesuksesan dalam setiap kali pelaksanaan lelang. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan pengalaman-pengalamanya menjual melalui lelang aset-aset perbankan swasta / BUMN, BPPN, Perusahaan Swasta dan perorangan.
Sering diundang sebagai pembicara di Bank dan perusahaan finance dalam bahasan materi lelang.
Joyce Priscilla, ST
Berpengalaman dalam menangani manajemen aset baik barang bergerak maupun barang tidak bergerak. Mengkoordinir setiap pelaksanaan lelang untuk kesuksesan lelang seperti melakukan koordinasi dengan Pihak Penjual (Vendor) dan Pihak KPKNL sampai dengan pasca lelang serta bertanggungjawab dalam pelaporan-pelaporan program lelang kepada penjual dengan berkoordinasi pada bagian administrasi lelang. Dalam tender pengadaan jasa lelang, Ybs bertanggungjawab dalam pembuatan proposal sehingga dapat disajikan / dipresentasikan dengan baik.
Menyelesaikan pendidikan di Fakultas Teknik Arsitektur Universitas Trisakti, dan mengikuti pendidikan penilaian, Ybs sebagai anggota Masyarakat Profesi Penilai Indonesia (MAPPI) juga memiliki kemampuan dalam melakukan penilaian aset.
Dhea Novridha Sary (Finance Officer)
Memiliki pengalaman dalam bidang keuangan seperti Prepare Financial Statement, Prepare tax report (yearly and monthly) and submit to Tax Office, Fixed asset controller, Prepare Budget dan Prepare tax reconciliation. Dalam transaksi jual beli melalui lelang baik lelang eksekusi hak tanggungan maupun lelang noneksekusi sukarela, Ybs memiliki kemampuan dalam pengurusan pajak, seperti pengisian dan penyetoran pajak penjual, pajak pembeli, biad lelang dan PPh.

BACKGROUND
In 1996, The Government introduced a deregulation in the area of auction allowing private Auction Houses to directly perform auction sales. Prior to deregulation auction sales can only be performed by the State Auction House previously called Kantor Lelang Negara or currently named Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang. Auction sales have shown promising growth since the deregulation.
The public view on auction processes in Indonesia, as we know now, is negative. This is because the common perception with the public is that goods sold through auction are items of inferior quality and laden with problems.
To change such perception the auction industry needs a breakthrough strategy to improve personnel behavior and service professionalism through the development of its human resources, as well as enhancement of its systems and procedures. This hopefully will enable Auction Houses to project a positive and professional image, and demonstrate to the community that sales through auction is one viable alternative in getting optimal value for their assets. Thus, as common in developed countries, making sale through auction known and very popular for the various advantages and benefits it provides both sellers and buyers.
PT BALAI LELANG STAR, also commonly called the STAR AUCTION, was established with the goal to achieving the above objectives. Priyatno, SH, M.Kn (Legal Advisor)
Completed education at the Faculty of Civil Law in Medan (1990), Training Officer Private Auction (2002) and has been appointed as the Auctioneer Class II in the area of DKI Jakarta on 9 August 2006, Master of Notary from? University of Indonesia (2004). With a background in education so that is one of the professional staff in the public sale in Indonesia is the Auction Law (procedure / conditions of auction), with a 7 (seven) years as a Property Broker Trainer Era (Era Indonesia), then there is no doubt expertise in sales strategies goods through the auction. With his experiences in the world during this auction, the banks, state-owned, private individuals and the trust to provide for his cooperation in asset sales through auction are: PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Internasional Indonesia Tbk, PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, Tbk, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, IBRA, PT Wijaya Karya, PT Bank Permata Tbk, and others.

As Directorr, he is a professional in the field through the auction sale of assets which is? move goods and not moving, as professionals who have background experience in Banking for 10 (ten) years, experience in the Private Auction House since 2000 and consultant of Private Auction House.
Expertise in other areas can coordinate a work for marketing success in the implementation of the auction each time. This is evidenced by the experiences sell through auction assets banking private / state-owned, IBRA, Private Companies and individuals.
Joyce Priscilla Tedjasukmana, ST
Experienced in handling asset management either moving goods and not moving goods.. Coordinate the implementation of each auction, such as the success of coordination with the seller (Vendor) and the KPKNL until the post-auction and responsible reporting in the auction-reporting program to coordinate with the seller on the auction administration. In the tender procurement auction services, She responsible in making the proposal so that it can be well presented.
Complete education in the Faculty of Engineering Architecture from Trisakti University, the education of appraisal, She is as a member of MAPPI also has the ability in conducting the assessment of assets.

Supervise division marketing (sales) for selling the unmoveable assets, such as house, land, shop, buildings, offices, etc. to coordinate with the Star Auction marketing network in 10 major Indonesian City, namely Jabodetabek, Surabaya, Pekanbaru, Medan, Banda Aceh, Bandung , Makassar, Semarang, Bali, Lampung, and Manado. With the experience in the field, He has a database that consists of buyers / End Users, Investors and the auction broker. This is a great investment for Star Auction for achieving sales targets through the auction with optimal prices.
